Im not sure cracking backs makes you a political genius either.
You’re a partisan. It wouldn’t matter if she had a political science degree from Harvard. You would just invent a different flaw. You’ve never met her, you have no idea her life story, the things she believes in, the people she cares for. You don’t like her because she’s a democrat. No other reason. When you close your mind as tightly as you do, it leads to anger, bitterness, and, ironically, a misguided sense of moral superiority.
I have a challenge. Go to one of Mrs Robinson’s meet and greet events, or contact her campaign so you can meet her. Spend a few minutes with her. Then make up your mind about voting.
If that is something you are unwilling to do, it both proves my point and exposes the cowardice inherent in blind partisanship.
Yes, I am aware of the talking points that are spoon fed to you by your media choices. But elaborate pls. I will, but I know you won’t. Truth is the enemy of stubbornness.
What is the “cultural mess”? Gay people being able to marry? That has been the law of the land for close to 10 years. The sky hasn’t fallen. Let it go dude, please. Transgender people? Well they’ve been around, according to historical documents and tablets, for about 3000 years. And they represent only about 1.14% of the population so I’m wondering how it affects you in any way shape or form. I thought the GOP was the party of personal responsibility. In other words, mind your own business and stay out of, and keep the government out of, other people’s personal lives. It is the cornerstone of Republican doctrine. You, of all people, should know that.
Financial- inflation is bad, yes. It was caused by a total global shut down of manufacturing mixed with a demand for goods that did not shut down. Supply and demand. Economics 101. Inflation peaked back in June 2022 and has been falling ever since. Job creation has been incredibly strong and the GDP is growing at 2.3%. The GDP growth under the last president? Yup, 2.3%. And that doesn’t take into account the 9% drop during his handling of Covid. The stock market is up a whopping 15% since trump left office. So, by all accounts, the economy is actually quite strong and inflation is abating, slowly, but abating. The former president predicted a “catastrophic economic crash!” If he wasn’t in charge. It didn’t happen. The opposite happened. The economy complaint is an odd one. Besides the actual data you can research yourself, just look around. Restaurants full, people out and about enjoying the weather, housing construction is beyond strong, and people are spending money. We are not living in some Mad Max hellscape. I know the dudes at Fox (who take a limousine to work every day) want you to believe that, but open you friggin eyes. Think for yourself for once.
Freedom. What freedom did you have in 2016 that you don’t have now? What “obstacles” are in place? This is my favorite question because it invariably leaves my republican friends at a loss. I encourage you to come up with an answer, but you won’t. In fact, the only freedoms that have been lost in the last few years are a woman’s right to choose, and a student’s right to read. But luckily that’s in just a few states.
Well there you have it. Please refute anything listed above. I’m happy to debate. Or, more likely, you’ll just puke out one of your tired old talking points. The crutch of the ill informed.
Great . She has a degree in fashion design. Perfect fit. I can see the connection to politics.
My vote is for Dr. Jodi

Democrats are the reason why this country is in trouble. A financial and cultural mess. They are an obstacle to freedom.
