  1. Am I reading this correctly ? Belmar going to start charging for parking around the Lake and the 10th Ave center median ?

  2. It cost $20.00 daily to park at Sandy Hook.
Island Beach State Park charges $6.00 on weekdays and $10.00 weekend days for NJ residents. Non-residents pay $10 weekday & $20 weekend days.
    btw-
Belmar no longer needs to share parking revenue with the Beach Utility … all the money can be used for municipal purposes.

  3. Just put toll gates, or cameras to capture license plates, at all entry point into the town and charge people that want to come here and ruin (I mean enjoy) our town. Send out toll bills to the captured plates.

  4. #4. I believe the $20.00 / day at Sandy Hook includes admissions? All the parking money can be used for municipal purposes? Like giving out more pay to play.

  5. Historically how many residents of Belmar have zero parking in front of their homes during the summer of Civic years? If you’re truthful your answer will be everyone East of Main Street with or without a driveway. Ask Brandle to move his commercial truck so you can park in the Plaza and then take a taxi home or hoof it.

Review your leases to determine how many parking spaces you are allowed to rent for your unit. If you chose the terms of your signed and accepted lease why the beef? Have your guests park their cars in the street on Thursdays like we’ve all done for 50 years.
