  1. I attended the past three BHA meetings.
September and October meetings there was a lot of rude disrespectful comments from the Exec Dir. to tenants and towns people after they spoke. The October meeting there was an Executive Session. All in attendance except for BHA Commissioners had to leave the room. Exec Dir had all chairs removed from the lobby for the past 6 months. We stood in the lobby for 45 minutes!!! November meeting Exec Dir was absent. There was another Executive Session where we had to leave the room. This time Amy Spera, assistant administrator, and another commissioner moved chairs from the room to the lobby for some of us to sit. Wow! Much appreciated! We returned to the meeting,
resolutions were discussed…about the building facade, hiring Norteast Generators
to replace transfer switch for the generator, AND appointing an elevator consultant company. HUD will conduct building inspection Nov. 22nd. Their report is expected January 2023. Progress is being made! Thanks to all the tenants and towns people for speaking up and addressing the conditions of the building and management.
I noticed at the November meeting how the commissioners sat near us at the table,
that they made eye contact when they spoke to us, they RESPECTFULLY replied to our questions, and they laughed along with us when we made funny remarks. Thank you Amy and Carolyn!
