If people don’t want that, we better not tell them there have been transcontinental undersea cables running under Atlantic Ocean beaches for nearly a century. They’re liable to form international conglomerate funded “grass root” groups and try to ban them.
Belmar is not a candidate for electric transmission cable landfall. Accordingly, didn’t sign the letter.
Our neighbors … Avon and Spring Lake signed the letter because of their experience with coastal linear development … Avon hosts transatlantic communication cables … Spring Lake has the South Monmouth Regional Sewerage Authority outfall pipe
