Why were federal appropriations funds of $675,000 for facade repair allocated to the Boro of Belmar rather than BHA? Sounds like the Boro is taking over BHA . You would think BHA would want to control this matter.

Remember Sandy 2012… same day Sandy hit there was a huge fire in one of the apartments. The tenant lit a candle, window was open! Three floors were evacuted due to smoke
Belmar first responders ecsorted tenants to bus to transport them to Belmar gym. Thank you BFD!
Recent fires in apartments … due to no common sense..
There appears to be no safety oversight at that building. From the front door it’s a veritable obstacle course. Everyone knows it’s a disaster waiting to happen. If they can’t clean up the entrance way gauntlet then the Housing Authority big wig decision makers are nothing but blowhards.
