Chapter 40-5.3 “The overnight storage of any commercial vehicle in residential zones, except that one such vehicle having a gross weight of not more than 18,000 pounds may be stored in a side or rear yard provided such vehicle is owned by the resident.”
Chapter 40-7.19 – “Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, no motor vehicle having a rated maximum gross vehicle weight (GVW) in excess of 18,000 pounds or having more than two axles, shall be parked or stored overnight on any occupied property which is primarily used for residential purposes or on any vacant property in a residentially zoned area, except for vehicles engaged in construction, parked or stored on an active construction site.”
Neither of those is enforced. Contractors park their vehicles near the train station in Belmar because Spring Lake won’t let them. Two nights of tickets and they’ll never park there again.
What an embarrassment the mayor was!! His tantrum was worse than my 4 year old. I can’t wait for him and Kevin Kane to be gone. I emailed Kevin several times beginning in January, and still have not received a response. I don’t think Jerry or Kevin give a crap about the town, its residents or employees.
For the code enforcement topics at meeting:

Wow, what a meeting!
Transparency is crap!
Sadly for us who voted Democrat
With a promise that everything would be transparent
To hear the Mayor say
“transparency is crap!”
– Gerald Buccafusco
Goes back to making promises that you can’t keep
I rather have the truth!
Code enforcement in this town is a joke. I’ve contacted them multiple times about issues and they never do a damn thing.

Is there an ordinance for slamming things and having a fit during a town meeting?
