Congrats to Donovan and Robinson. And congrats to DeBlasio and Anan for a well fought race.
I’ve said it before on this blog. It is a terrible time to be a republican. Some, not all, of you put your faith in a con man. An incompetent that so blatantly violates the constitution to enrich himself and his family, that only his most hypnotized sycophants don’t notice. Texas now has a democratic senator. Let that sink in. So many maga true believers claim that any criticism of the dear leader is TDS. A sign of near Stockholm syndrome level worship. Hopefully they will start to see the truth. The man they thought was an agent of change is just a two bit con artist who just lost both houses of congress and a ton of governorships. And in two years, the White House.
It’s a glorious day. I’m sorry that two nice people had to get caught up in the reckoning. But America showed that love wins over hate and that America won’t stand for the dismantling of our system of government in order to stroke the fragile ego of a maniac.
Awesome job Caitlin and Johanna.
I thought it was gonna be very close (no matter who won), but it was not very close at all. Certainly not by our usual standards.
Now let’s get ready to get to work. Don’t waste the win.
