  1. Nothing lasts forever … and Belmar streets are no exception with crumbling pavement, sewer sinkholes and utility opening patchwork.

Who is gonna pay the $’s to repair the streets?

    1. Property Tax Payers
    2. Pay-to-Park
    3. Gift from Gov. Murphy

I’m in favor of P2P if the revenue stream is used to fix Belmar streets

  2. There was no warning about the increased fee spots. A lot of full time residents now have to pay to park in front of their homes by the lake. The Boro should issue resident parking permits.

  3. #6. There are no homes where paid parking was added. All these spots border the lakeside. Homes are on the other side of the street where it’s free parking.

  4. I don’t think the increased number of pay to park spots made the beach calmer this summer.
I think it helped the administration a great deal. Who knows what ways they will squander the windfall. I can say with certainty, it will not help the tax payer.
As far as EV spots proposed by Murphy, it’s the future. Who cares? I’m not all that interested in being subjected to the whims of the OPEC cartel for ever. Besides, when automobiles started to become common place, the people who rode horses were not happy. The tax payers paid for federal, state, and local roads. The auto makers benefited. Life goes on.
