To all my readers and Commenters,
You might have noticed that the comment format on the right sidebar has changed.
It was not intentional.
It happened as the result of an update and I am trying to change it back.

  1. $10 event flat fee parking at Dempsey Park?
What do our Friendly Sons have to say about that? Or do they not have weekly events anymore? Who decides what an event is? Do our Friendly Sons get free parking passes? Wishy washy to the max. I should get used to how this town is run by now.

  2. Maybe we can have a resolution to take down the graffiti-filled donation signs that look like hell. These signs do not beautify our beaches, and they were only supposed to be up for one year, not 10 years. Almost every one of them is unreadable, Mr. McCracken please help.

  3. Last I checked, the FSOS has their own parking lot and donates lots back to the community. In fact, they are giving proceeds from their polar plunge to the junior lifeguard program and are donating to the 150th clock. They also have donated to the town on multiple other occasions including buying the town’s Christmas tree for the past few years. Not to mention all the charity they gave to the seniors during the pandemic.

  4. They are a charitable organization. That’s what charity organizations do. My point was if the town wants to charge people to pay for parking at Dempsey Park, then all people should be charged regardless if you are a FSOS or not. Just because I give to the Red Cross doesn’t mean I can park for free in town where parking is charged.
