      1. That’s what I’m saying Einstein. The whole thing was rebuilt after Sandy. So why do we need millions for repairs that should’ve been taken care of at that time.

        1. They’re gonna build a permanent bathroom facility. If they have any sense it will heated to stay open all year.

          1. Yeah who is gonna maintain it and pay for all the expenses. They should raise beach badge prices and parking to pay for this. I think the tourism dept can squeeze some additional tax out of the business within so many feet.

            Who likes debt and inflation?

  1. Wait one gall darned minuto. What amount(s) will Belmar taxpayers have to foot in terms of required matching “Grants” and is there a time limit within which job(s) should be completed?

Didn’t Mcdirty drag our heels for years on the unused Lake Como Grant?

Do we have to pay back unspent Covid $ ?

    1. Grants are free money w strings. This will hopefully meet the guidelines.
Matt tried to tie outfall pipe grant money to the pavilion. About as dirty a trick a person can play. It was clear to me then that he doesn’t care about Belmar. He never did. This town was a means to an end for him.

  2. Maybe the professional contractors hired by the boys of the Mcdirty mcdithers regime, who were only supposed to be “Union Carpenters, Laborers, Journey-apprentice persons, etc, real!y didn’t follow Ferrara-Conti or Maser$ rules back in 2013+++++

Could it be like highway repaving over and over year after year using inferior materials? WPA and CCC public construction programs building roads, bridges and public structures here at the Shore were construction projects from the Depression Era that have stood the test of time for neigh on 100 years! Something stinks folks and it ain’t coming from the Ocean!

    1. 100% truth.
      We have been duped.
Anyone that fought against the people of this town that KNEW that pavilion was a con job, you owe us money.

  3. Why hasn’t “I know everything “ Joe McEvoy given us his expert opinion on feral cats? Can’t wait.

    1. Oh how I love the one sentence trolls on here that love to make it personal but don’t have the courage to put their names on anything; Only my name. I’m glad I occupy space in their vacuous heads! LOL!
The expert opinion was given by the concerned folks from the Monmouth County SPCA. If anyone was to ask me my opinion, I’d refer to these experts as I do with everything else I approach in this town. Unlike your hateful self who can’t understand why your feelings aren’t facts and why your radical party ideologies are no longer the course that Belmar is charting for the future. I know the Veterans that I helped rally had a huge part in charting the new course with a SWEEEEP and that’s why you hate me. It’s okay though, the fact that you take away from this informative page with your preemptive personal attacks and take away from the attention of our resident strays, makes many here realize you hate yourself more. You just haven’t figured out how to put your ego aside and ask for help, or you’re just too much of a narcissist to realize what a social **** up you truly are.
