  1. I think the point the gentleman was trying to make about the Piano is Mayor and BA communicate- return calls and emails to people. I mean it is disrespectful- if you know something that was tentative schedule for April 5th is off, why not respond to an email or phone call and just provide a status. Are you guys not embarassed that people continue to have to go to meetings to get a response from the Mayor or BA. If Mr. Kane is to busy with being a Mayor in Freehold then he should be replaced he is getting paid way to much money by the Belmar taxpayers not to respond.

    1. I have a feeling something is up with the piano and they don’t want to talk about. Why couldn’t we just buy a piano made in the USA? Is the town getting scammed because it certainly sounds that way.

Shouldn’t piano man fly his own **** into town?

      What a disorganized mess.

      (Asterisks are mine, Editor.)

      1. The piano is a special weather resistant electronic piano only produced in Israel. Not something you can buy in America so it takes a long time to produce and ship.

    2. I agree. How many times have people gotten up and complained that the BA, Mayor, etc do not respond to emails or messages of any kind. It’s discourteous, disrespectful and arrogant towards the community.

    3. Same question about the mermaid removed and still waiting to be installed at 10th Avenue entrance from Route 35. Does any one know the latest status?
What does it take for the Major update the status of open items at every Council meetings? Example: Piano, Mermaid, Cafra of Mediterranean project and etc. This will prevent the public getting up and ask for the updates. Just a thought.

  2. I don’t know maybe it’s me but whenever I see some of the players from that administration that ruined this town like Doherty, Magovern, Nicolay, etc. I don’t feel so good after. And I’m non partisan.

    1. You have something against learning a little history and introducing visitors to what Belmar used to look like?

  3. Sounds like a scam. Anyone know if we used gift cards as a form of payment?

If this thing is real we probably won’t be able to fix or repair it when it breaks. Great choice.

When lawyers don’t talk there is usually a problem.

  4. put a piano at Pyanoe Plaza and wait for noise complaints … just like the bell tower at St. Rose.

    1. Bingo. Or, an over served benny will use it as a toilet. This will go one of two ways: it will never arrive and we’ll have been duped. Or it will arrive and be rendered inoperable after a year or so and begin to collect grime and some graffiti.

  5. I like that Councilwoman Kinney recognized St. Rose Boys basketball for winning State Championship. Well done fellas! But I also want to let everyone know that the Manasquan Girls won the State Championship as well, which is the primary High School that the majority of Belmar students attend. Does anyone know if any Belmar girls are on that team?

        1. Malarky, Camden lost and Manasquan was robbed. There was a hole lot more to that than meets the eye. For Camden it was only a basketball game. For the Manasquan boys, it was a great lesson. Probably a better learning experience than they ever got sitting in a classroom in that school.

          1. I meant it was politically correct that Camden won. No riots, shootings, stabbings, or any other acts of violence. It’s all BS. Manasquan boys learned a valuable lesson not taught in school but by a life experience with a bunch of dumb liberals running the show.

    1. That particular council person didn’t mention Manasquan because she probably doesn’t think about Manasquan, or Belmar ES for that matter.
