It’s no secret that Mr Pringle is no friend of Doherty’s. In fact Ken was instrumental in stopping Matt’s more destructive projects. Anyone who has lived in this town for more than 10 minutes knows that.

That was the Administration that did NOTHING to help Belmar meet its affordable housing obligations, even though their hand-picked Borough Attorney Jerry Dasti warned them in no uncertain language, at the outset of their terms, of the consequences to Belmar if they didn’t act. Mr. Dasti even spelled out those consequences in a February 19, 2019 letter to the Borough’s Engineer. I will be providing a copy of that letter to the Administrator of this blog, in the hope she will post it. Doherty and his Council certainly deserve blame too. They were warned in clear terms, too, in the 2016 Master Plan Re-examination Report, which can be found on the Borough’s website. I’ll provide a copy of that part of the Report to the Administrator as well.

It’s like when Sean Hannity blamed the housing crisis of 2008 on Jimmy Carter (nearly 30 years after he left office). You cannot make this stuff up.
