Belmar Inn Condos Part 1
Tentatively scheduled to be continued on Thursday, August 26.
Comments
We all know how people with driveway parking put their cars, especially on weekends, into the street. Will this be permissible to new condo owners? So my average question is will the HOA monitor the inside parking spaces for “registered owners”. If not there is an above average chance that much more parking spots would be taken on the street so guests of condo owners would have a spot to park inside the building. The whole thing is an above average bad idea.
Can we come together and improve our town. The Inn is a eyesore and a negative that impacts the Eastern part of the middle of our town. This is by far the best plan to date and delaying will only allow for this eyesore to continue the contamination of this area. The surrounding towns laugh at Belmar for wanting to keep a flea bag boarding home. Approve this for Belmar’s future!!
To the rich, greedy developers and the others involved in this scheme (project): Build whatever you want, as long as you abide by the current zoning laws and master plan put in place. Play by the same rules that I and the other cash-poor residents in this town do. When I plan to make improvements to my property I make sure I am within the rules (setbacks, ratios,….) Build four beautiful conforming single family homes and everyone will be happy.
Has anyone out there looked up what the present owner of the Inn paid for it years ago? Not to include refinance money they may have taken out of it. We know he hasn’t put money into it as far as improvements go.
#6 the boro has property assessed for more, and the amount of money put into the place even back in opening status in 2018.
But really not sure what point you are trying to make is, are you upset that the bills and taxes are paid up to date? Are you trying to claim you know every bit of the finances of the Corp or what monies they have invested in based on not having to refinance etc;
I bet if we looked at a lot of people’s property records the purchase price is less then the present day property value
#16&17- Number 5 asked a question and number 6 answered that question. You two seem upset about that. Are you angry that number 6 answered the question? There is literally no other comment from him other than the direct answer to the question.
#19- the ‘clientele’ that stay at the BI pay to stay there. They are not the problem, or what you inexplicably refer to as ‘recipients within the government socialism mode’. The owners of the BI- Rainbow Hospitality LLC are the problem. Ignoring municipal laws and ordinances, acting with total disregard for their neighbors, and doing it all in order to make a buck. Now the potential developers want the government to change the zoning laws so that they can maximize profit and the law breakers that currently own the building can make millions on the sale. And you’re worried about the people that stay there? Please think before your speak. And open your eyes to who is actually benefitting from the government’s help. It ain’t who you think.
#20. I would respectfully disagree that the clientele are not the problem. In fact one of the exhibits at the first application was a binder with hundreds of police reports and EMS calls to the belmar in as a result of the clientele. I recall the applicants attorney spending about an hour reading through them to the public. The clientele most certainly are a problem! (Whether they pay or not.)

#5… Rainbow Hospitalities Inc bought the property in 2003 for $1.41M … no mortgages registered on Monmouth County website.
Gee, wonder if the OUTSTANDING Belmar Water Utility bills, etc., were satisfied at the time of that 2003 sale?
#7 … Belmar Utility Account 1502-0 is all paid-up on the Borough website.
