  1. #1 what are you referring to as a waste of taxpayers resources for the project—- just curious are you referring to the process before the board? or are you referring to what your opinion is on the proposed project if approved?

  2. Thanks admin for the YouTube of the ZBA meeting … it is so much better watching from the comfort of home with deluxe features like on/off switching.

  3. If they can take 2 separate lots in a residential neighborhood, turn them into one huge lot that will be a 5 story building 50′ tall, they can do it anywhere. Once the Inn is knocked down, those 2 lots (according to the master plan) are zoned for single family homes and/or townhouses. This property will take up 80% of the lot and will be 5′ off the property lines of neighbors. It proposes a rooftop deck and multiple individual decks overlooking neighboring properties. For reference, this is the same height and look of The Plaza on 10th near the train station/Federici’s.

  4. Let’s talk science.

    Do some maths
By taking a few measurements you can calculate the exact length (L) of the shadow cast at midday by any object such as a tree, wall or building.

With the formula above all you need to know is H (the height of the thing casting the shadow) and A (the angle of the sun at midday).

You can calculate A at the equinox, summer solstice and winter solstice using the second set of formulae if you know your latitude (the number of degrees north or south of the equator that your site is).

    3. Use an app on your smartphone
There are some fantastic apps to help you locate the path of the sun all year round. Two of the best are:

    Sun Surveyor
    Sun Seeker
These apps use your phones GPS and compass to display an accurate representation of the sun’s path through the sky in your location.

Both apps have 3D augmented reality camera overlays as well as integrations with Google maps.

  5. #8 – they don’t sell their solar panels in Spring Lake or Sea Girt either because they look horrible.
