My brother was blown up June 4th, 1968, age 18 & 90 days and survived. The Vietnam “War” was tragic for families everywhere and the toll it took on our men and women was unfathomable unless you lived it. Seeing a veritable child in a triple amputee ward pretending they were all ok was beyond comprehension.
I am old enough to remember when they came back home and how shamefully so many were treated. God bless our vets.
The Vietnam Vets may not have been the Greatest generation but they were the Greatest of their generation!
