  1. A big thank you to all of our Vietnam Vets, please don’t forget the ones that never made it back home.

  2. I salute all my comrades of those times. Few days go by that something doesn’t remind me of my 13 months in Vietnam.
    ——————————————
I wish all these wars would end – read, “War is a Racket”. They’re all useless. The only one that would be worth it is if we were actually invaded.
    —————————————–
George Washington said, “Beware of foreign entanglements.” It’s time we heed those words.

  3. #3 Thank you for your service. There are some that think we need a war every so often. They want to know how well our equipment works and how well our trained forces perform.

  4. I disagree w Mr Dilberger on just about every single topic…except this one. I lost my beloved uncle to the Viet Nam war. A senseless waste of a life full of potential. Thank you for your service Mr D.

  5. A great day for America- serial law breaker and Viet Nam era draft dodger, Don J Trump indicted today in NY for using campaign money to pay a pornstar to keep quiet. It’s always the cover up, and not the crime, that gets these idiots in the end.

  6. A sad day for America – If “they” can do it to Trump, they can do it to you – depends upon which political party someone is affiliated with. Justice is not blind these days.

  7. #8 Oh boy… I guess when I pay hush money to my porn star mistress and then lie about it on the forms I submit to the government I’ll know they’ll be coming for me. Uh oh!

  8. #8 Nope. This is the law. The former president allegedly violated NY laws by misappropriating business funds. It’s not sexy. It’s not political. It’s actually kinda boring. The evidence was enough to hand down an indictment. Don’t forget, Bragg got a conviction of the Trump Organization a few months ago, for fraud. He is a serious prosecutor that went to the same law school as Ron DeSantis.
And no, this cannot ‘happen to me’. Mostly because I will never use campaign funds to pay off a porn star in order to keep her quiet. So I think I’m good.
By the way, this will likely be the first of a few indictments for Mr Trump. So settle in and get used to it. Perhaps he should consider not breaking so many laws. I know you believe everything that the personalities of Fox News tell you. But, judging by their private text messages, they are in agreement that this is a legitimate indictment.

  9. If one is a Biden, there is a wink and a nod and under the rug the crime or malfeasance goes. E.g., Hunter Biden and the gun permit application lie. What happens regarding the pursuit of justice, these sorry days, is dependent upon which political party one belongs to and the party which controls (and perverts) the justice system. That is my point. Getting Trump by hook or by crook was and is the battle cry of the left. If the Republicans choose to play by that theory when they assume power, well, watch out Biden and his ilk. There is enough on the record about them without having to distort matters to bring them to task.

Ok, this has nothing to do with Viet Nam and veterans. I salute the proud military of the U.S.A.

  10. #11 if ANYONE breaks the law, they should be held accountable. If that is Biden or his ilk, so be it. Bring the charges, I’m not a blind sycophant for ANY politician These charges started when Trump was prez, and the republicans held the senate and have a majority in the SCOTUS. Plus they are state charges. Not federal. Your theory has more holes than Trumps defense.

#12 A) there is nothing more political than a proxy war B) Trump is one of the most hypocritical of the wealthy, social elite draft dodgers during Viet Nam. Since his current phony saber rattling and his past cowardice is a dishonor to every American soldier who fought and died in that war, I thought it was poetic Justice that he finally starts to pay for some of his crimes.

  11. #8 it sounds like you should be more concerned about the heads of various congressional committees trying desperately to interfere with a criminal case taking place in the state of NY. Now THAT is weaponization. I think Jim “look the other way” Jordan needs a basic civics lesson. Out of state congressman, regardless of their fealty, cannot attempt to obstruct a state criminal investigation.

It’s also disturbing to me that Lindsey Graham, Donnie Jr, and Eric were LITERALLY crying at the very unsurprising news about Trump, but were dry eyed over the most recent school shooting. I don’t care which party you belong to, that is beyond comprehension.

  12. Unlike the Vietnam War … Americans need not worry about being drafted into military service … the United States has vowed to fight Russia down to the last Ukrainian.

  13. #15 correct. If there was a Russian proxy country fighting Ukraine, then we would have our soldiers there. But since the vertically challenged fascist despot, Lilliputian, decided to use his own military- we, and other western countries, have to provide aid from the sidelines. Although this war has exposed the many weaknesses in the Russian military.
