  1. I believe that the national arm of the GOP should read this letter. They could learn a lot from Mrs Renner’s sentiments. Inclusion, environmental protection, acknowledgment of political differences versus social similarities, etc etc.
It’s refreshing to hear a Republican that isn’t trying to tell us what we can and can’t read, or whether we’re allowed to go to a drag show, or what a woman is allowed to do with her own body, or (Deleted by Editor.)
To me, this is a refreshing letter about the dangers of political extremism and one person’s intention to campaign with compassion rather than capricious idealism.

  2. Unfortunately I have had nothing but negative experiences with Mrs. Renner (Deleted by Editor.) so I can not get behind her on council. I also do not believe she is open minded nor do I think she has everyone’s best interest at heart. Ms. Donovan seems like she is the best one running for this seat this year, she is already doing a great job with the cell tower fight and is educated, well spoken and does her research. A vote for Renner will be a vote for the same old mind set, closed minded and uninformed because they do not research or look for solutions. Vote Donovan.

    1. Ok Ms Democrat. At least say something nice. Like she’s a nice person? I don’t know her, but she can’t be as bad as you say.

      1. If you don’t know her, how do you know she ************ the commenter says?
People are still allowed to have opinions (I hope)
You should go back and read some of your own comments my friend. ‘Saying something nice’ isn’t exactly your thing. You are more of a ‘do as I say, not as I do’ kinda guy.

        (Asterisks are mine, editor.)

  3. For anyone on this blog that still believes Mayor Walsifer had nothing to do with the Verizon deal, you probably still believe Trump colluded with Russia and the vaccine worked.

“In January 2021, Verizon filed an application with Belmar to obtain permits and approvals to begin a cell tower project. When Belmar failed to respond within the mandatory 90 day window, Verizon filed a complaint in federal court against the borough for missing the deadline.

The two parties settled the case last summer. In November, the township council signed a resolution stating the settlement agreement with Verizon “assures Belmar and its residents that the proposed 5G cellular antennas will be properly located and aesthetically pleasing.”

    1. I do believe Mr Walsifer had something to do with the Verizon towers. But I also believe Trump colluded with Russian nationals (Don Jr. When contacted by a Russian lawyer promising ‘dirt’ on Hillary that would ‘help his father’ he typed back, in an email that became public, “If it’s what you say I love it especially later in the summer.” Maybe you have a different definition of ‘collude’ than I do), the Covid vaccine, like all vaccines, worked like it was supposed to (now if we could only come up w a vaccine to protect some, um cerebrally challenged, folks from the internet).
I hope knowing the two latter things doesn’t dilute the importance of me knowing the one former thing.

        1. I actually don’t smoke. Never did. Neither cigarettes nor the whacky tobacky.
Do you have an argument to counter the factual things I said? Or are you actually curious if I smoke? Since you didn’t refute anything I said, I’ll assume you were just curious.
Again, the answer is I’m not smoking anything. I do drink, but only socially.
If there is anything else you’d like to know about me let me know. Full disclosure, I am married though.
