Enough with this nonsense. This whole extremely recent and undoubtedly fleeting love for the whales by those on the political right is the most hypocritical crap I have witnessed. The shameless pandering is astounding. The same folks that made fun of Greenpeace for decades, who deride environmentalists, who scoff at laws designed to curb population, are now into whales. Can’t make this s#%* up.
Hahahahahahaha. Pathetic.
hypocrisy comes from both sides. If the windmills were oil or CNG platforms and dead whales started washing up I think the reaction would have been way different from both sides.
Absolutely agree. Hypocrisy knows no political affiliation.
The only difference in your scenario is that oil rig accidents (not necessarily the oil rigs themselves) have killed whales. It’s not a hypothesis or ‘being investigated’. Those disasters have literally killed whales. Not to mention the other impacts of oil spills. So yes, oil rigs get protested by environmentalists. And no, they are not protested by republicans. Like ever.
This right wing wind farm save the whales BS is bought and paid for by large oil interests. Period. Alternative energy is fledgling and the folks that make money off the status quo want to smother it in the crib.
Yes there is hypocrisy on both sides of the isle. But this particular brand is pretty gross. Blatant double standard by the folks that claim to be so morally righteous. Luckily it’s a fad that will fade as fads do. (Deleted by Editor.) A new manufactured outrage to meet the endless hunger of the people who refuse to look within themselves.

We don’t want to stare at 5g towers, but windmills are all the rage. Has anybody seen the recent rendering of what the shoreline will look like?
No more sunrise/horizon photos.
Can’t make this up.
Curb pollution, not population. Although that right is attacked as well.
