Many years ago, in my Belmar house, after lights were turned off at night, we found that we had a small bat flying around. When I turned the lights on, he (or she) became immobilized and I was able to gather him up in a towel and take him outside and let him fly away,

about how Wind Turbines are killing Bats.
Many years ago, as a child, I found a large empty can of “instant” potatoes next to Schatzow’s. I looked inside the can and there was a weird bird in it, it’s wings extended, so it couldn’t get out of the can. I tipped the can over and a bat flew out. Scared the wits out of me, I had nightmares for weeks that it might come and find me.
If you cannot stand “cute” skip this video, but it may soften the heart regarding fruit bats.
