the former ship mast was repurposed by Belmar as a vent pipe … the vent serviced a large underground sewage storage tank … big enough to hold Belmar’s turds and toilet paper for the entire beach season!
In the fall … the waste was discharged to the ocean.
This is Belmar. There is definitely a developer out there looking at that historic mast and thinking, I could make that into a 67 unit complex.
