  1. Ha. Oh well. Sexism is alive and well even here in NJ. Not a single woman in that list.

I thought the GOP was super angry the opioid epidemic in this country. I guess party loyalty is deeper than personally morality. If anyone is wondering what I’m talking about, you can read what Mr Jack said about opioids when he was running his medical advertising magazine.

      1. Haha. You should work in Washington DC as a spin doctor. Can you juggle while dancing like that?
I think you’ll find, if you turned off Fox News for like one minute, that Ciattarelli’s medical publishing firm, which published material for medical professionals licensed and accredited by the University of Tennessee and funded with grants from the pharmaceutical industry, published a piece that said the risk of opioid misuse is low among patients with chronic pain. Now, two things: paid for by the pharmaceutical industry would have you freaking out if he didn’t have a little r next to his name. And we now know, and we then knew, that opioid abuse was an incredibly high risk and the cause for countless lives lost.

(Asterisks in name are mine, Editor.)

      2. Read what he said. If you’re naive enough to believe it was harmless after all that was known at the time, then go ahead and vote for him.

  2. Did you make 7 million on the stock market and get fined for failure to report it? I’m, um, um, I think we made money but I’ll have to see what you’re alluding to!!
Ha, that was enough for me.

    1. Read her financial disclosure. It’s available. She disclosed more than required.
It will hopefully be enough for you. But you have to read it first.

        1. Her husband is a very successful hedge fund manager. He has been a huge success on Wall Street (something that used to be in the plus column among republicans). If she doesn’t know the details of their portfolio, that would make them a fairly common married couple. The important thing is she released her finances. You can peruse if you like, or you can pretend to be indignant about wealth. Just pick one or the other.

        1. A joke, really? Financial disclosure requirements help identify conflicts of interest and attempts to get rich off ones position.
If we had strict FD requirements for national office, we may have avoided a PoTUS that is literally making millions off US tax payers.
They should be even more rigorous. And a refusal to comply should result in a disqualification. Period.

  3. I wonder if the back room was just cigar smoke or if they had brandy too.

Yes, celebrate endorsements from Hudson County dems. Definitely a trust worthy bunch (eye roll).

      1. I’m just a little perplexed by republicans celebrating endorsements from politicians they don’t trust. And no, I wouldn’t be happy if they endorsed her. You see, I happen to be able to walk and chew gum at the same time. My vote is always for the person, never for the party.
But nothing the GOP does these days surprised me. The party of Reagan died the day Mr Drumpf (actual family name, literally nothing about this guy is authentic) came down his tacky gold escalator. It’s too bad it didn’t break down, he’d still be standing there.

        1. came down his tacky gold escalator. It’s too bad it didn’t break down
          —————————————————————————
Actually I was recently up in NYC riding on an escalator and there was a power outage. I was stuck on it for three hours and when the firemen came to save me they were saying all sorts of nasty things to me, and I was taken to Bellevue hospital and kept there for three days and kindly doctors came in and talked to me and finally said I was no danger to anyone and they let me out.

          1. Haha. I’m so sorry that happened to you. Have you thought about running for office? You could have millions of sycophantic followers.
No doubt the elevator was sabotaged by the crazy radical left escalator repair mob. You are a brave patriot and should be Secretary of the Interior or the ambassador to Qatar

      2. That woman? Can’t say the name?
No, since you asked, I wouldn’t.
If you are that pliable politically, that’s good for you I guess. I happen to have a bit of a moral code that is outside of party.
But, the major parties need blind loyalists too, so good on ya.

      3. No I wouldn’t. Unlike some *****, I can actually walk and chew gum at the same time.
Something tells me you’ve never seen the movie from where your pseudonym comes.

  4. I actually think it’s awesome that Taco is tearing apart the east wing of the peoples house to put a $250 million dollar self indulgent ballroom. It fits right in with the main tenet of conservatism, small government. It’s a little weird that by the time it’s completed he’ll be out of office (especially with no illegals to help with the labor), so not sure why he’s doing it.
I mean, he is definitely not thinking of violating the 22nd amendment. Ok yea, so he’s shown a bit of a disregard for the constitution, but only like six or seven dozen times. He such an honest public servant, except when he speaks, and a humble devotee to the rule of law, except when he isn’t, which is daily, that he wouldn’t never violate an amendment to the constitution. Would he?

  5. “When someone says, ‘Let’s impose tariffs on foreign imports,’ it looks like they’re doing the patriotic thing by protecting American products and jobs, and sometimes for a short while it works, but only for a short time. But over the long run, such trade barriers hurt every American worker and consumer. Then the worst happens, markets shrink and collapse, businesses and industries shut down, and millions of people lose their jobs”
    -Ronald Reagan

  6. This Post was meant to be sardonic –

Yes, Hudson County Dems coming out in support of Ciattarelli is a big deal.
And really, bringing out Amy Klobuchar to tell us who to vote for in New Jersey?

    1. Governors all over the country enlist senators and high ranking members of their party to get out the vote. It’s quite common. So if Mike Johnson came to NJ to stump for Ciatarelli, you’d have a problem with that? No, of course not.
I agree Hudson county dems supporting a republican candidate IS a big deal. Just probably not for the same reasons some people do.
