Incidentally, I received a campaign flier for the GOP candidates. Just a heads up for the campaign manager in charge of the copy. The banner across the top says “Experience and Commonsense”. Common sense is two words when used as a noun, which, in this case, it is.
It can be one word (although usually with a hyphen) when used as an adjective. If you recall, there was a similar blog in town called “Common Sense For Belmar”. Two words.
