  1. Yes!!!
So tired of hearing gas blowers all day from Wed thru Sat. When did this country become so lazy? Nobody mows their own lawn anymore and Heaven forbid you break a sweat raking leaves.
Physical labor has been replaced by a pampered citizenry.

    1. You and the others who hate gas blowers and lawn mowers must hate our valuable immigrants who do all the work. If owners start what you suggest they would need to leave and go back home. Is that what you and the other dumb liberals want?

      1. I actually just hate the noise. I’m sorry, I thought I made that clear.
If they could make a gas (or electric) blower that was quiet, heck I’m all in.
Right now, the best way to achieve a peaceful neighborhood experience is with rakes. And that raking will most certainly continue to be done by the illegal immigrants that are employed by the American citizens that own the landscaping companies (none of the immigrant haters seem to be mad at them, weird)
I am heartened by the fact that you now accept that the illegals who mow our lawns, fix our roofs, clean our houses, and clear our tables are actually vital to our economy. That is a big step for someone like you. And it’s an important step to becoming a more compassionate, and therefore better, person. It makes me happy and it fills me with hope.
        Thank you for sharing.

  2. BINGO – All you have to do is look at people in general and it is obvious if they ever turned their hand to a full day’s work outdoors, they’d fall over dead.

  3. What if it’s an electric blower?

Using a blower does not guarantee a nail in your tire.

Dont worry my electric blower does not have 5G.

  4. When I was a kid in the late 70s early 80s here in town, not one single person had a landscaping company mow their lawn. They did it themselves or had a neighborhood kid do it (w a push mower and a rake). Even my wealthier friends in Spring Lake and Sea Girt would cut the lawn themselves.
I get that the landscaping industry creates jobs and sustains families. I’m just lamenting the fact that the high powered whine of leaf blowers has become an acceptable part of life. This isn’t Howell or Colts Neck. We have 50’ by 150’ yards if we’re lucky.
Mow your own lawn and rake your own leaves. Give it a try. You may find that it gives you enjoyment. Plus you’ll save a fortune.
