If the previous administrations allowed some affordable housing in all the condos that have been built in the last 15 years, we wouldn’t be in this mess.
You kick the can down the road, eventually you gotta pick it up.
👉👈 Everybody loves to blame the “other” guy for everything.
In the last 15 years we’ve had three mayors. Two dems and one republican. All three, but especially the second (name rhymes with pooratee), approved all manner of new condos and never once asked for some affordable housing to be mixed in. If they had, we would not be in the mess we’re in now. Period.
If that sounds like blaming someone else, that’s because that’s exactly what it is.
If the aptly named Mr Whaaa would like to dispute the claim I just made, I welcome it.
