Has everyone seen the article on page 13 of The Coast Star this week about Huisman’s $35,000 raise due to his additional position as head of LC Public Works? Plus a borough vehicle.
Someone should OPRA what Palmisano pays the town to lease all those docks plus the storage trailers in the dirt parking lot and winter storage space. You will be SHOCKED!
From what I understand he only pays chef international rent for the bait shop. He thinks he owns the Marina. I’d be interested to what he pays the town for their space.
You gotta hand it to them. All these cops take good care of each other.
Rumor mill sure is churning, after the election the administration will be getting rid of people.

#11 have you walked into town hall lately? I went in last week to pay my taxes. There was ONE woman there working, I asked where everyone was, she said this is all we have today. Has anyone taken the time to speak with our municipal employees? How do they feel? Why is everyone leaving/retiring from town hall?
Maybe the candidates should speak with the town hall employed, get their opinions on the current administration. What an eye opener that will be.

#11. No I haven’t been in boro hall lately. Maybe some were on a break, a meeting, vacation, who knows. Is that your dislike for this administration because only one employee was available when you went to pay your taxes? I hope there are more reasons than that.
#9 what part of unsubstantiated allegations do you not understand? The admin is exercising caution to keep the blog honest. What you call censorship is merely policy. Not being able to go into a restaurant without a shirt on isn’t censorship. It’s policy. You want a platform to say things about people that can’t be verified? Start your own blog.

I have now had two posts not show up. Neither one had any personal allegations. It was simply a list of why I dislike the current administration. No names named. No rumors. Just a list of actions either taken or not taken by this mayor and council that lowered the quality of life in Belmar or wasted taxpayer money.
The shielding is becoming ridiculous
#19 It’s not by any means to shield the current administration as I often try to post things defending them and they don’t show up either. When I say the blog is censored I am often commented on by other bloggers that I am paranoid. But by no means is the blog trying to protect the current Mayor and his administration.
