I have one word, “pathetic”!
No wonder he’s not running again. Horrible contract for Belmar. No performance goals.

Do we really need a BA is this town? The last three unelected BAs were unmitigated disasters. If a candidate for mayor said that they would do away with that position because they can handle the job of being mayor, they’d get me vote.
That’s not a bad idea
All I see are excessive amounts of time off and bloated salaries! I know employees that work there have to work years just to accumulate that much time off. And not to mention this is for one small town! I would love to know if any responsibilities Kane has for Freehold Boro are being handled on Belmar’s dime…..aka the taxpayer’s dime! Anyone else curious as to what Kane does to actually earn that much money??? He doesn’t respond to residents or employees
It’s not just Kane. It was Kirschenbaum before him and Connelly before Kirschenbaum. It all started with Doherty. We elected a mayor who didn’t have the, um, ****** ******** to be the mayor of this tiny town. In comes Connelly. A big fat salary for an unelected position and unchecked power. Next Mr K. again an unelected position of power and an orchestration of the tax payer funded above market purchase of a contaminated property from a family member! I mean come on!!!
If you can’t be mayor of this tiny little community without hiring another person to do the job of the mayor, then don’t run.
