Finally the commissioners are delving into the problems at the senior building. Glad they made it very clear they are the bosses, Paul works for them.
As for the deplorable condition of Joe’s apartment, shows you mismanagement issues. Past few years Paul/Mike did annual HUD inspections of all units. Literally problems slipped through the cracks, swept under the rug.
The superintendent can only do so much. He NEEDs a full time assistant.

5 new BHA commissioners started working for the tenants Jan 2026. They have been delving into the issues and problems that management has neglected for past 7 + years.
It will take time …the Commissioners are very eager to make
the needed changes.
Exec Director needs to be removed. (Deleted by Editor.) A lot of misinformation. Meetings are scheduled with contractors, energy engineers….if meeting time changes he does NOT inform BHA Commissioners or tenants. He controls who he wants at the meetings. Tenant morale very low…delay tactics…

Mike Carr the superintendent is the ONLY one who cares about the tenants. Not only does repairs but goes the extra
mile to help tenants with their needs. I have been in hospital and rehab twice the last 7 months. Mike has dropped off items that I left at my apartment. During the holidays Mike has decorated the lobby to make it feel like home. Recently he decluttered the community room and rearranged furniture so that people with mobility problems can walk around. He does the work of 3 people. No one can replace him. Thank you Mike!
