Or…the city of Asbury could step in and save the iconic (and let’s face it, very cool) historical landmark in their town. I guess they can hit up Bruce, but he has already parted with more than a few buck for Asbury Park. The turf club, the senior center, and various other charitable projects to the tune of hundreds of thousands of dollars. Not to mention donating his talents to fundraising events through the years.
Or they can be like Belmar and just tear down historically significant structures to make way for oversized cheesy fake Mediterranean condos. Developers gotta eat too.
Or maybe Madison Marquette should be held responsible for breaking their contracts and allowing those buildings to fall into complete disrepair. We’ve seen that game… ignore what needs to be fixed until OH NO WE NEED TO TEAR IT DOWN, then build condos that only very rich people can afford. Same old, same old.
