she was taking advantage of those rights to perform for cameras on Memorial Day –
And why did New Jersey decline to participate in Washington’s Celebration of July 4th? –
(Except, of course, for the money she now has access to for liberal causes. That’s fair, she won the election.)
I would argue that loving America means you fight to keep it alive. That you stand up to those who are bent on destroying democratic institutions, dissolving the separations of power, and ignoring the rule of law.
THAT is patriotism. THAT is what the founding fathers had in mind for this experiment in self governance.
Kowtowing to a wanna be dictator, draft dodging philanderer, and megalomaniac? Nothing more un-American than that.
Incidentally, of the original 13 colonies, 11 are states that this president hates with a passion which he professes openly and consistently. If that’s “loving” America, then I’ve fallen through the looking glass.

Why is it “woman” governor and not just governor? Weird, but telling, fixation. Those 11 states lead the nation in income producing. Every one is a donor state. Meaning they (we) pay more to the Feds than we get back. In other words, those (North Korea) states support the red states who get from the Feds more than they give.

Good for her. Making sure that human beings are treated as outlined in the constitution (and the Bible for that matter) is more important than a self aggrandizing display in the swamps of DC. If you want to celebrate this country, then do something important to make sure it stays in tact.
Dumb answer. She has responsibility to the citizens of NJ. The Bible has nothing to do with the the state of NJ. The governor is out of touch with her duties. Just like you she is dumber than a tire.

Except, of course, for the taxpayer money Trump now has access to for his own personal causes. Destruction of the East Wing for a ballroom, a new White House helipad just announced. Diverting millions earmarked for National Park Service projects and funneling it into the disastrous reflecting pool job, DC fountains, the “triumphal” arch, birthday party on the White House lawn. Taking over public parks and golf courses to build a statue garden, remaking the Rose Garden into the patio at Mar-A-Lago. Signing mining deals that net him, his sons and his cronies million if not billions of dollars and making over a billion in crypto since taking office in 2025. Accepting a $400 million plane from a foreign country, retrofitting it using $1 billion in taxpayer money, then claiming he’ll keep it for his presidential library when he leaves office. And let’s not forget the shady stock market trades that occur just before he announces every new “deal” with Iran. And that’s just the stuff we know about.
All while you pay more for gas, groceries, housing, rent, heat, electric, education, and healthcare, while Congress sits on its hands and does nothing.
But that’s fair, he won the election.
