I was at the meeting and I think it was informative. I’m glad to see the council and Mayor communicating with the public which is something we did not have in almost four years.
Definitely a good plan to include the public for their insight. There are a lot of very smart professionals living among us and we would be smart to listen to them.
Kevin Maroney is stellar. He is a breath of fresh air and it’s great to have someone on council who is so knowledgeable with fire and safety amongst all his other skills. He is a team player, a great speaker, a gentlemen and great choice for Belmar.
Yes, Gene, that would make a lot of sense. We should not have to pay to park for a Town Hall. And how would they let people know? Updates like this are not posted on the Belmar Facebook page anymore.
Is that because it’s a political event? They don’t even mention the updates in the meetings. If you want to learn what’s going on, you have to ask during the public session at the Tuesday meeting in BORO Hall.
