Do you think that the party that let 10’s of millions of illegals enter the US, wants you to show proper ID when you vote?
I do actually. There are laws in every state the require ID and proof of citizenship when you REGISTER to vote.
In election after election there is proof (even from Republican officials) that voter fraud is extremely rare and not at all party specific. It is literally a felony and it almost never results in the overturning of a result (the recent exception being a North Carolina election where the republican candidate’s operative destroyed votes. That election was overturned and the operative was sentenced).
The NJ situation is nothing more than a computer glitch by a private sector government contractor. The problem was discovered and dealt with. Since we have records of how many of those wrongfully granted voting rights, we know that about 400 actually voted (we have no idea which party they voted for). In a state with over 9 million people, not exactly earth shattering numbers.
Voter fraud is a red herring. A Trump created boogeyman that creates a narrative where every time you or one of your acolytes loses, it’s fraud. But if you win, well that was a fraud free election. I have to admit, it’s brilliant in its blatant ridiculousness. Maybe the NY Giants might want to start employing the practice. When they lose, we don’t accept it and accuse the other team of cheating. If we win, they played better than the other team. I’m telling ya, it’s genius.
The truth is Trump is scared. I don’t blame him. He is polling in the small room that is underneath the basement. He is concerned that a Democrat controlled congress will hold him accountable, so he is desperate to suppress votes. There is a general rule among republicans; they do better when fewer people vote.
Don’t be part of this dumb charade – DON’T VOTE!!!
Mr D. I love that you don’t vote. I really do. It might be the one bright spot in a pretty dreadful time.
But why keep banging on about it? Just don’t vote. Be proud of your abstention from the democratic process, but be humble too. Let the rest of us live our own lives. You’re like one of those people that tries to make everyone watch “Wicked”. Enough already.
If it doesn’t truly matter whether or not we vote, then why go on and on about it. Let’s let each other live our own lives shall we?

Just looking at the lake and realizing that one person was able ruin the lake for four years for all of BELMAR because of their warped philosophy.
Another example is the over building on Route 35. One person made that deal behind closed doors.
If you care about your town be mindful of your leaders. Don’t allow a repeat of the last four years.
Um what? One person made that deal for the Mediterranean project ‘behind closed doors’? That might be the most insane statement anyone has written on this blog. And that is saying something.
That project has been in the works for three mayors. Any acquiescence on size and scope can be traced, very easily, to the two mayors before Buccafusco.
I’m not sure what you’re reading or who you’re talking to, but I’m assuming you literally moved into town last night?
And the lake. One guy, really? Here in Belmar, we have a mayor and four council members. Since January, the republicans have held a majority. Before that, there was a republican on the council but the dems held the majority. The council members have voices. They have votes. They have media outlets. Go back and look at the votes (include the zoning and planning board votes) around the Rt 35 project. You are NOT going to like what you see.
It took one person and a BA who worked in one town and collected two paychecks to push through the project on rt 35.
He took a bow on his last day for this accomplishment before he resigned.
Oh I forgot, and only one single dem on the council who he said was the only one loyal to his antics.
