  1. I wish literally every single neighbor I have for a 10 block radius attended this.
Instead I have to listen to leaf blowers from Wednesday morning til Saturday evening. You would think there was a groundbreaking study that linked a single leaf on your lawn to terminal cancer.

It’s insane was has happened to society. And why doesn’t anyone cut their own grass anymore?

  2. Thank you Amin for posting this information. It is a risk, of course, because any mention of reducing pollution or helping maintain a balanced ecosystem, often triggers those on the extreme right. For some unfathomable reason they see protecting the environment as some kind of, well, I don’t know what exactly. Maybe they see it as an infringement on their rights. Which is understandable I guess. It makes no logical sense of course, but I guess you could see it that way if you see the world as yours and yours alone. We see it all the time, selfishness disguised as ‘freedom’.
Anyway, I’m sure there are readers of this blog that fit that bill. Angry all the time and engaging in environmentally harmful activities purely out of spite. Like people who purposely (Deleted by Editor.). I’d call them children but that’s not really fair to children. Narcissistic brats is more accurate.

  3. Hello! I hope everyone is enjoying this nice weekend. I just wanted to stop in and say I voted for Trump and use an electric lawn mower and blower. I also ride my bike around town and go to Church. Enjoy your day!

    1. Those are almost all great decisions, with one glaring exception.
But, if a cratering economy, a failing job market, a 10 billion dollar bail out for farmers, the federal government taking over America cities, a dubious relationship with a (Deleted by Editor.), and the loss of health insurance for tens of millions of Americans are things you enjoy, well then bravo.
Have a great day! Oh, and you might want to pay closer attention in church.

  4. Why does it have to be one extreme or the other? I use a gas powered mulching mower and a battery operated leaf blower. I rake and mulch/compost my leaves which then allows my kids to enjoy playing on nice grass instead of leaves, sticks and dirt. (a soccer ball doesn’t roll well on that buffalo grass). And I voted for Trump.

    1. Yes that makes sense. Grass is nice. I think they’re saying leave the leaves in the beds if possible.

I honestly cannot belive there are people admitting that they voted for Trump. I mean good for you for, you know, for hanging in there I guess. But man would I be equal parts angry and embarrassed.

        1. I don’t think so. No one by that name ran.
I did vote for a prosecutor named Kamala Harris. You may recall she beat her opponent so bad in a debate (it was like watching a cat toy with a mouse), that her poor opponent refused to debate ever again. And yes, I’d vote for her again. I draw the line on voting for people associated closely with Epstein. I’m funny that way.

        1. I voted for Kamala and Biden before that. No regrets. I, along with millions of Americans, am worse off now than a year ago. Prices are going up, wars still rage, job market is in the toilet, and my 27 year old child with two jobs will lose his health insurance (and won’t be able to afford new) if Trump gets his way.
That, to me, is more important than some landscapers and busboys who crossed the border illegally. More important than freaking out like Victorian era debutants about the (literally) less than 1% of the population that is transgender. More important than being a bigot who wants to take away marriage equality. More important than denying a woman’s write to choose. And more important than the desire to do anything possible (Speaker Johnson is working harder on this than anything) to NOT release the Epstein files.

Go ahead, refute a single point I made. You won’t. You can’t. Trump is an unmitigated disaster. Something that nearly half the country knew and the other half didn’t believe. What would happen if Kamala won? I have no idea and neither do you. One thing is for sure, we wouldn’t have the (Deleted by Editor) we have now. And that would be wonderful.
Luckily his approval ratings are as bad as the jobs numbers and his very public displays of mentally unraveling have turned even some of his most cultish followers.
