What about Vickie Renner withdrawing from the Belmar Council election? Big news in town and does this open the door for John Sabia to be put on the ballot?
Yes Mr. Creamer. Looks like a female. The local birds as I’m sure you know, stick around for all four seasons. All of the sudden though with the advent of the cooler weather up north, the migratory ones from Canada start moving south and through the area- about the same time Pumpkin flavored coffee shows up here because the Pumpkin harvest starts in Canada there as well from the cold. I’ve seen just two all summer in the skies, but in the past two weeks have had dozens suddenly visit our feeders so they’ve certainly begun to move through and are extra hungry from the long journey.
I recently found out it’s unique that some go from Central Ontario as far south to Central Mexico, while other “wild canaries” simply like being our state bird and stick around all year as proud New Jerseyeans.
